Islamic symbol and Persian coins

The coins issued by the Sasanian kings starting from Kavad 1 (499-531 AD) to the last king Yazdagard 3, (632-651 A.D.) there is clear symbol in their coins on all four sides by the Star under the Moon.

This implies that the Arabs took the symbol from the Sasanian Kings and made it into the Islamic symbol.
