Professor Kasra Vafadari

It is with saddness that we hear of the demise of Professor Kasra Vafadari, the eldest son of Ardeshir Vafadari and Mehrangiz Firoozgar, on May 16, 2005 in his apartment in Paris. He is survived by his wife and two daughters, Afsaneh and Ariana Vafadari. Memorial services to celebrate the life and achievements of Professor Kasra Vafadari are scheduled in Paris, Tehran, Washington DC, and Southern California. The memorial ceremonies in the US will take place on June 4, 2005 from 5-7 p.m. local times at the Arbab Rustom Guiv Darbe Mehrs.

Dr. Kasra Vafadari whom of late spent much of his time in Iran, had travelled to Paris for personal reasons where he met a trajic end.
